Edward, a Los Angeles-based studio violinist and audio mix engineer, brings together the harmony of classical training and a diverse spectrum of musical genres. His journey commenced under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Sheng-Ching Hsu, Andrea Byers, and Moni Simeonov at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, CSULB, where he honed his skills.
Presently, Edward holds the position of assistant concertmaster at his alma mater, Pasadena City College, a testament to his passion and dedication to his craft.
His portfolio extends beyond the confines of classical music, collaborating with an eclectic array of local artists such as the Wild Peacock Preservation Society, Jerry and the Pill Paupers, Aria Gittelson, The Fourth Degree with Nathan Pelayo, Faydean at Harvard and Stones, among others. In these performances, Edward transitions between classic rock, folk, and bluegrass styles, showcasing his versatility and artistry.
Beyond the stage, Edward has lent his expertise to the Satori Violin Competition, Southern California’s second-largest violin competition, where he served as a coordinator and general assistant. Moreover, he has left an indelible mark as the audio engineer and composer for 22West Media, a university-led production group based at CSU Long Beach. Post graduation, he’s also continuously assisted in Professor Sheng-Ching Hsu’s studio, where he’s further developed his skills as a musician and music coordinator.
