1. What inspired you to sing?
“I am not sure what inspired me to sing as ever since I can remember I have loved doing it. Ever since I could remember, I have loved to make noises with my voice.
2. How old were you when you started singing?
“I have sung ever since I was able, but the first concert I sang in was in preschool.”
3. Who is your favorite role model?
“I am inspired by any person that devotes their professional lives to art, regardless of commercial success. I makes the world a better place.”
4. Do you have a funny anecdote?
“When I was in the 8th grade, I invited my extended family to a play in which I had several solos. During my last solo, my aunt caught me backstage and whispered to me that my fly was down and it had been like that for the entire 2 hours prior!”
5. What do you sing in the shower?
“I usually warm up lightly in the shower in the mornings, or else it gets way too loud.”
6. How did it feel when you found out that your group was selected for the second round on America’s Got Talent?
“It was a surreal feeling to sing at the Dolby Theatre – and receive a standing ovation. I had grown up listening to and watching the show’s judges on TV and radio, so winning them over was exciting. After we filmed the audition, the TV crew took is onto Hollywood Blvd to get a few more shots of us. As the crew filmed, crowds of people gathered to watch and take pictures of us. It was definitely a moment we will never forget.”
