MTAC Certificate of Merit Schedule for 2025
Here is the timeline/dates for the 2025 Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) Certificate of Merit® (CM) Program

| September 1 | MTAC Online System opens for Applications |
| September 30 | MTAC Online System closes for Applications. No late applications will be accepted. |
| September 1-October 5 | Parent Payment Period in the MTAC Online System. No late payments will be accepted |
| December 15 | Deadline to submit YAG Letter of Intent and Repertoire in the Online System. |
| February 25 | CM Evaluations Media Submission Deadlines. All portions of the online CM Evaluations (Repertoire upload, Technical Requirements, Theory Test & Sight Reading Test) for all instruments must be uploaded and completed by this deadline. No late submissions will be accepted. |
| April 1 | Application requests open for Make-up Evaluations (MUPs) for both Performance and Theory in the MTAC Online System for all students, requests must be approved before submitting payment. |
| April 15 | Deadline to apply for Make-up Evaluations for both Performance and Theory in the MTAC Online System for all students, requests must be approved before submitting payment |
| April 28 | MUP Media Submission opens |
| May 6 | MUP Media Submission Deadline. No late submissions will be accepted. |
| June 5 | MUP results are posted to the Parent Portal. Parents should contact their teachers if they have any questions regarding the results. |
