Jeremy Collin

Jeremy Collins is a flute performance major at California State University Long Beach, studying under Darrin Thaves and Dr. Jenni Olson. He has previously studied with Mary Fettig in the Bay Area and has been a member of the Diablo Wind Symphony and Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Jeremy has taught multiple lectures on flute pedagogy, coached new students in their repertoire, and led rehearsals for the CSULB Flute Quartet.

As a teacher, Jeremy is committed to equipping his students with the essential skills, musical knowledge, and confidence they need to express themselves through music. By creating a supportive learning environment, he strives to make every lesson a step forward in his students’ musical journey, looking for steady improvement over the course of their lessons to help them achieve their musical goals.
